What Does Cross-Disability Mean?

Independent Living, Inc. is a cross-disability organization serving people with a wide range of disabilities.

This means that our work is not limited to a single disability, diagnosis, or type of support.

We support people with physical, intellectual, developmental, sensory, neurological, mental health-related, and non-apparent disabilities.

At ILI, we start with the person, not the diagnosis. Whether someone is seeking resources, advocacy, employment support, accessible housing, or greater independence, we focus on their individual goals.

Every person is different. Every goal is personal. Our commitment is the same.
