Downing Park This page is to share current events and activities at Downing Park. Downing Park is a 35-acre landscaped park located in the heart of Newburgh, New York.

It features hills, valleys, streams, a large pond, a rich variety of vegetation, serpentine paths and picturesque vista. Downing Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, who were also the architects of Central Park.
