I'm excited to announce I have officially filed for re-election for my 8th district House seat. It has been an amazing year representing our district and I have been able to deliver huge wins for the citizens of SW Indiana. From protecting the country from the largest tax increase in US history, to eliminating the tax on overtime and tips, eliminating taxes on Social Security for 90% of the seniors in the district. The doubling and making permanent the dependant child tax credit will benefit 80,000 families in the district. Doubling and making the inheritance tax exemption at $30M per couple permanent will protect 9000 farm families in the district from having to sell their farms to pay the death tax. Add to that huge wins in defense spending of nearly a billion more dollars on programs at the Crane NWSC, which will add the the employment at the Base and in the Westgate Tech Park, to funding for a Quantum Computing Corridor from the University of Chicago to Purdue, IU and Crane and funding for a new waste water treatment plant at the Westgate Tech Park are just some of the wins for our district in my first year. I look forward to continued great wins in 2026!
