This past Saturday RVCS participated in the Newburyport Pride Parade. It was a beautiful demonstration of acceptance, love and community. Families held signs, unique flags and waved colorful ribbon sticks spreading love and joy as they walked through downtown Newburyport.

We recently brought back an old RVCS tradition, and the evening could not have been more fun.

With a wonderful turnout of incoming families, graduating 8th grade students and families, faculty, staff, and board members, the Maritime Mixer beautifully reflected the heart of the River Valley community.

Thank you to the Custom House Maritime Museum and to everyone who helped make the evening such a success. We can’t wait to continue this tradition for years to come!
