Just a reminder that we are in a burn ban do to the fact we are in HIGH fire danger. Please follow the rules set out in this document. It can save land, houses, cars, shops, and most importantly lives.
Volunteers are already tired and exhausted due to wildfire activity. Please be responsible.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to so many who gave water and Gatorade, and other much needed items to our department last night! What a great blessing to come home late last night and see the tables full! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Also to our team! They fought hard yesterday, others brought in food and more iced drinks! It was phenomenal to watch all of our Newcastle volunteers come together! We are blessed!

Hot and dry weather are here to stay. đŸ„” Triple digit temperatures will continue to plague the region this week, with heat index values between 100-109 degrees each day. The fire weather threat will be elevated along and west of I-35 due to low humidity and breezy winds.
