CCFD would like to give a shout out to our summer seasonal wildland firefighters! This year, we have 13 seasonal firefighters joining our team to help during the peak fire season. Their time with us begins at the end of May with two weeks of training and typically runs through September, depending on fire activity and their school or work commitments in the fall.

This group brings valuable support to our county during one of the busiest and most demanding times of the year. They are well trained, hardworking, and play an important role in helping us respond effectively to incidents across the area. Please join us in welcoming them to the team this summer!
