🍂 Help get Newcastle Cemetery ready for its Open House at Newcastle Days! Join the Newcastle Historical Society for a volunteer cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

This two-acre historic cemetery has been the resting place for coal miners and their families since the 1870s, and it's the last physical reminder of the many folks who shaped Newcastle's early mining days. We're sprucing it up ahead of the Open House the following weekend.

Drop in anytime, no RSVP needed. Come for as little or as long as you'd like; every bit helps. 🌿
