❤️💙 A huge thank you to our 2026 Summer Sponsors! 💙❤️

You'll see their names at our events and across our city communications, but behind the scenes, these are the generous partners who make our summer extraordinary. They don't just support our events, they're also our neighbors who love this community and it shows.

We are so grateful. Newcastle's summer wouldn't be the same without you.

🏴 You may notice the POW/MIA flag flying at City Hall. Here's why.

Washington state law requires all cities to display the POW/MIA flag on specific days throughout the year. Newcastle goes a step further: once raised, the flag stays up for a minimum of 10 consecutive days.

City Council adopted this policy in 2025 to ensure the flag, and the people it represents, receives more than a single-day acknowledgment. It's a small but meaningful way our community honors those who served, were captured, or never came home.
