A special opportunity at Great Camp Santanoni 🌲🐴

This Sunday, September 6, explore another fascinating piece of Santanoni’s history with a special tour of the Farm led by volunteer docent Jennifer Kaspar.

Tours are offered at 10:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Whether you hike, bike, ride the horse-drawn wagon, or use an available mobility device, it’s a wonderful chance to experience this historic part of Newcomb.

Thanks to our friends at Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH), Great Camp Santanoni, and their dedicated volunteers for continuing to bring the history of this incredible place to life ❤️

🇺🇸 ONE WEEK TO GO — TR WEEKEND STARTS NEXT THURSDAY 🏇

This year, TR Weekend carries some extra significance.

2026 marks the 125th anniversary of Theodore Roosevelt becoming President of the United States following his historic journey out of the mountains in September 1901.

Next week, we’ll gather here in Newcomb to commemorate that remarkable moment in history—and the important role our community, and the Adirondacks, played in Roosevelt’s journey to the presidency.

🌲 TR Weekend | September 10–13, 2026

Four days of history, traditions, outdoor adventures, community events, great food, live music, and much more—all celebrating Newcomb’s unique connection to Theodore Roosevelt.

This is a special year to experience TR Weekend.

🇺🇸 125 years later, the story lives on.

🍕 THANK YOU, BAB-A-DEWS! 🍕❤️

Today is our last Food Truck Tuesday of the season, and we want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to Brandon & Jessica, owners of Bab a Dew's WoodFired Pizza, for spending their Tuesday evenings with us at Overlook Park this summer.

When we started Food Truck Tuesdays, we hoped it would give residents and visitors another reason to get together, enjoy Overlook Park, and share a good meal. Brandon and Jessica helped make that happen week after week — serving up delicious wood-fired pizza, wings, and more for our community.

We truly cannot thank them enough for making the trip to Newcomb each Tuesday and being such a wonderful part of our summer. Your time, hard work, and commitment to our little community are very much appreciated. ❤️

If you haven't made it down yet, today is your last chance this season! Stop by Overlook Park, grab some Bab-a-Dews, and help us give Brandon and Jessica a great Newcomb send-off! 🍕👏

Thank you, Brandon & Jessica, for a fantastic summer ❤️
