Book Donation Alert 🚨🚨 Summer Book Sale

The Friends of the Moore Free Library have begun to gear up for the Summer Book Sale, which will take place at the Library on Saturday, July 11, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We will be accepting donations for the sale on
** Monday, June 15, 4:00-6:00 pm. **

From the Andes to the Stars: Exploring Chile’s Vera Rubin Observatory and ALMA - Thursday, June 25th, 7:00 pm

Susan Rolke at the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in the Andes Mountains of Chile.
The Moore Library will host local science educator and amateur astronomer Susan Rolke for a fascinating program that takes the audience high into the Andes Mountains of Chile, where some of the world’s most powerful telescopes are opening new windows into the universe. The talk, “From the Andes to the Stars: Exploring Chile’s Vera Rubin Observatory and ALMA,” will be held on June 25th. The event is free, open to the public, and families are welcome.

This is how it works: We offer one-to-one tech assistance with basic computer or mobile device questions.

The appts are for 30 min scheduled by a phone call to the library. 802-365-7948. The service will be offered the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
