5th and 6th grade(U12) soccer practice is cancelled this evening due to impending weather and probably field conditions. Next practice will be Tuesday September 1st at 6 pm.

Schedule looks like the following:
- Pre-K - K Football - Wednesdays 6-7 pm (Some games on Sundays) Season starts Sept 5th.
- 1st-6th Grade Football - Mondays and Wednesdays 6 - 7:30 pm (Games on Sundays). Season starts August 24th.
- Pre-K -K Cheerleading - Wednesdays 6-7 pm (Will cheer at some Sunday games) Season starts Sept 12th.
- 1st - 6th Grade Cheerleading - Mondays and Wednesdays 6 - 7:30 pm (Cheer for Sunday games) Season starts Sept 12th.
- Pre-K/K Cross Country - TBD (Need a coach to determine day and time) Season starts week of Sept. 10th
- 1st-6th Grade Cross Country - TBD (Need a coach to determine day and time) Season starts week of Sept. 10th
- Pre-K/K Soccer - TBD (Coach is still waiting to pick a day they have available) Season starts week of Sept. 10th
- 1st/2nd Grade Soccer - TBD (Coach is still waiting to pick a day they have available) Season starts week of Sept. 10th - Games on Saturdays
- 3rd/4th Grade Soccer - Mondays / Wednesdays 6-7:15 pm. Games will be Saturdays. Season starts August 26th.
- 5th/6th Grade Soccer - Tuesdays / Thursdays 6 - 7:30 pm. Games will be Saturdays. Season starts August 27th.

We are still looking for Coaches for the following teams:

- 1st/2nd grade Co-Ed Soccer
- Pre-K/K - Cross Country
- 1st-6th - Cross Country
- Assistants welcome for all other sports. Email at [email protected] if you're interested.

Update on Track and Field practice times will be Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm. And Sundays 2-4 pm.

Finally the dust has settled on our Winter Rec season!! You know what that means....

NEWFIELD REC SPRING SPORTS SEASON AND SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

We will be offering the following sports:

- Arts and Crafts (PreK - 6th Grade)
- Track and Field (PreK - 6th Grade) - Looking for coach
- Softball
- Minors (3rd-4th)
- Majors (5th-7th)
- Baseball
-Tee-Ball (PreK - Kindergarten)
- Coach-Pitch (1st - 2nd Grade)
- Minors (3rd - 4th Grade)
- Majors (5th - 6th Grade)

Important points to note are we are capping this year's participants at 60!
We have also adjusted camp time to be from 8 am - 4 pm with half hour before and after care.

We still fully accept DSS and have a scholarship that is open until March 27th. Payment plans also available!!

Rec assistant and Camp Counselor jobs are posted on Tompkins County Civil Service website.
