100 years ago today!

On this day in 1903, it was reported that a Fire Company had been formed in Newfield. A committee reported to the Town board what their needs were. On Sept. 15th it was reported a special election would be held on buying a chemical fire engine. As you see, it was voted down, so the Fire Company disbanded.
