Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.

We honor the lives lost, the families who carry their memory, and the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and ordinary citizens who answered the call with extraordinary courage.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Good Morning Everyone, I just completed my last radiation treatment at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, an awesome staff to work with from beginning to end. I just want to thank everyone, especially my wife, for the support and prayers throughout this ordeal. Everything went well and moving in a positive direction. I was Fortunate and Stubborn to not miss a day of work or a fire call. Again, thank you to everyone. Be Safe. -23 Chief

☀️ Summer Safety Tip from Your Local Fire Department 🚒

As temperatures rise, remember these simple ways to stay safe:

💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
🔥 Never leave a grill unattended, and keep it at least 10 feet away from your home or anything that can burn.
🚸 Keep children and pets away from grills, fire pits, and hot pavement.
🚫 Never leave children or pets alone in a parked vehicle—even for a minute.
🏊 If you’re around water, make sure children are supervised at all times.

Have a fun, safe, and fire-free summer! If you have an emergency, call 911.
