🏌️‍♂️ 5th Annual Ride with Rudolph Golf Outing 🏌️‍♀️

It’s back! We’re excited to announce the 5th Annual Ride with Rudolph Golf Outing, supporting our local 1st responders!

Join us for a great day of golf, food, drinks, prizes, raffles, and plenty of fun — all while helping support the men and women who serve our communities every day.

⛳ Schedule:
• 9:30 AM – Golf Registration & Lunch
• 11:00 AM – Shotgun Start
• 5:00 PM – Dinner, Open Bar, Happy Hour, Prizes & Raffles

Golf: $170 per player
Dinner Only: $80

Your registration includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, prizes, a raffle ticket, dinner, and a 2-hour open bar!

This year’s event will benefit the dedicated members of Sandyston Fire Department, West Milford Fire Company 2, Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department No. 2, and Sussex Fire Department. Proceeds will help support equipment, training, and community programs.

🚒 ANSWER THE CALL — JOIN THE WEST MILFORD FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚒

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to serve your community, respond to emergencies, work alongside a dedicated team, and learn skills that will last a lifetime?

The West Milford Fire Department is 100% VOLUNTEER, with 6 volunteer fire companies protecting approximately 80 square miles — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

🔥 JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS — AGES 16–17
Start learning the fire service, gain hands-on experience, and become part of the firehouse family before becoming eligible for regular membership.

🚨 REGULAR MEMBERS — AGES 18+
Applicants must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Complete a membership application
• Successfully complete a background check
• Complete a physical provided by the Township

🎓 TRAINING IS PROVIDED!
Once approved, new members are required to complete the Firefighter 1 program within their first year of membership. Fire academy training includes classes two nights per week and Sundays.

No previous firefighting experience is necessary. We’ll provide the training — you bring the commitment.

Why join? Cool trucks are definitely part of it, but you’ll also learn lifelong skills, build friendships, work as part of a team, help your neighbors on some of their toughest days, and become part of a proud tradition of volunteer service.

This Sunday, Touch a Truck is taking over Skylands Stadium!

Get an up-close look at emergency vehicles, heavy equipment, utility trucks and more, meet local first responders, then stick around to cheer on the Miners as they take on the New Jersey Jackals! ⚾⛏️

And the best part? It’s all for a great cause. ❤️

In collaboration with Kevin “Ride with Rudolph” and presented by Royal Buick GMC, this event benefits the Ride with Rudolph Foundation and its mission to support local first responders.

❤️ $10 from every ticket purchased through the special event link benefits the Ride with Rudolph Foundation

🎯 Proceeds from the Miners 50/50 will also benefit the foundation

Sadly today Community Fire along with West Milford Fire companies 1,3,4,5&6 were alerted to a house Fire on Oak Ridge Road shortly before noon. Luckily nobody was home and both pet dogs were rescued by good Samaritans. Although we never like to see this we're greatful that no lives were lost. The house can be rebuilt and new memories can be made.
Thank you to all of our mutual aid partners for your help today. Your help was and always will be greatly appreciated.
