As we celebrate today with family, friends and neighbors we’d like to share Newington coming together this past Saturday to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during Newington’s Memorial Day Parade. 🇺🇸

We were proud to see our Republican elected officials marching alongside veterans, community organizations, and residents in remembrance of those who gave everything for our freedoms.

Following the parade, many gathered at the Fallen Veterans Memorial at Town Hall for the moving rose ceremony, a solemn and meaningful tribute to those who never made it home. Moments like these remind us that Memorial Day is not just a tradition, but a time to reflect, remember, and honor the sacrifices made on behalf of our nation.

Thank you to everyone who participated, organized, and attended today’s events to help keep the memory of our fallen heroes alive.

May we never forget. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who made our Library 5K Fundraiser such a success! Your enthusiasm and generosity helped create a fantastic event while supporting an important community resource. We couldn’t have done it without you!

The Newington RTC was well represented at the Library 5K, both as volunteers and race participants, and we were proud to be part of such a great community event!
