We will have two guest presenters for the April 21st meeting. Dr. Gary Childers of High Country United Way will talk with us about the mission of United Way and how they work to support nonprofits in Avery and Watauga Counties. Susan Larson of Western North Carolina Nonprofit Pathways will tell us how her organization can provide technical assistance and training opportunities for nonprofits.
We've also printed the first copies of the Resource Guide, and will have enough for each agency to take several at the meeting.
Be sure to join us for some good information and fellowship (and snacks!) from 4-6 pm Thursday April 21st at the Senior Center in Newland. Call Cindy at 737-0718 for more details.
