As we make finishing touches to our comprehensive summer schedule, we are pleased to announce that we will open our ELCO “Wild About Books” Mobile - our community’s very own volunteer-run lending library on wheels - next week!

On TUESDAY, JULY 20TH (6:00-7:30 PM), we will visit our ELCO family and friends in Newburg Village (110 Treeline Drive, Newmanstown).

On FRIDAY, JULY 23RD (6-7:30 PM), we will visit our ELCO family and friends in Wheatland Manor (corner of Ladybug Lane and Mayfly Court, Myerstown).

Come and visit us!

We invite all our community members to visit! Although our initial collection of books is heavily catered to our primary students (K-2), we intend to expand our collection over time to encompass all elementary reading levels K-5.

Also, stay tuned to this Page as we schedule guest readers and story times at 6:15 and 7:00 PM at each event.

OTHER NOTES:

* A comprehensive schedule for the 2021 summer schedule is forthcoming, and will be posted on this page.

* Event plans and activities are subject to change or cancellations due to inclement weather. Scheduling changes and updates will be made on this page.

* Community members (adults and children) may check out books for two week periods. We will request your name and phone number as a part of the check out process.

* Children do NOT have to be enrolled in ELCO Schools to visit us and check out books. Everybody is welcome.

* Parents and Guardians, please help with supervising our children.

* Book Returns can be made at subsequent ELCO “Wild About Books” Mobile stops (once again, the full summer schedule is forthcoming).

* Bring grace, along with a cheerful and patient heart. Remember, this operation is “of our community, by our community, and for our community.” It is run by volunteers who are still adding to our collection of books and learning how best to operate a bookmobile! ❤️
