We have something for every reader - children’s books (both fiction and nonfiction) and magazines, middle grades fiction, classics, adult fiction, nonfiction, poetry, banned books, comic books, and more! Another successful bookbombing adventure! We stopped off at the Elm Street Little Free Library this afternoon to donate a box full of books from my classroom library. We hope the Elm Street kiddos enjoy them as much as my students have! Alex was also excited to borrow this copy of “Germs, Germs, Germs” - our little bookworm/future doctor read the whole book before we made it back home!

We enjoyed visiting the Stonebridge Community Little Free Library yesterday and adding some of our favorite books to their shelf! We hope their new readers enjoy them as much as we did! Can’t wait for our next bookbombing adventure! 📚♥️

Yesterday, I walked past two kids standing in front of a Little Free Library.
“Hmmm, let’s see,” said the older one. “This one is good. And so is this one.”
He handed the younger kid two books.
“Yeah,” said the younger one. “But I can’t read them.”
“Duh, I know,” said the older one. “That’s why I’m going to read them to you.”

Oh, my heart--it lifted up in my chest when I heard this exchange.
Suddenly, everything seemed brighter, more possible.

Twice a month in Kenya, three camels set out to deliver library books. One camel carries boxes of books. Another carries the tent and supplies. The third camel is used as a spare.
