There is construction activity in the area as work continues on the City of Newnan’s LINC expansion project, and portions of the walking trail are currently impacted.

We recently treated some of the guys who help care for Carl Miller Park to lunch in celebration of the park being named Best Outdoor Recreation in Coweta!

We’re proud of everyone who works year-round to keep the park looking its best and ready for our community to enjoy. 💙

Back to school, Coweta County!

A familiar little bus from Carl Miller Park felt like the perfect way to mark the first day of school.

As students head back to class, Newnan Utilities wishes families, teachers and school staff a safe and successful school year.

Traffic reminder for the Sewell Road area 🚧

Work is underway on Sewell Road, and delays are expected. Visitors traveling to the Newnan Utilities office or Carl Miller Park should allow extra travel time, follow posted signage and use caution in the area.

New, softer flooring was recently installed at both toddler playgrounds at Carl Miller Park, just in time for summer play days.

Simple ways to conserve water in the kitchen:

💧 Skip pre-rinsing your dishes
💧 Run the dishwasher only when it’s full
💧 Upgrade to a more efficient dishwasher
💧 Keep a pitcher of water in the fridge
💧 Soak pots and pans instead of rinsing
