🎗💛Since today is World Endometriosis Day, I thought I would go back to 2014 when this Endo march journey began. What started out as a meet-up for fellow endometriosis sufferers has now turned into a global movement. We now have an endo sisterhood filled with women who truly understand this invisible disease.
Back in 2014, my organization started the hard work of getting lawmakers to officially recognize March as Endometriosis Awareness Month. In the beginning, we had to go to the lawmakers every month and fight for this cause.
In 2018, the House of Delagets officially designated March as Endometriosis Awareness Month in Virginia. Although we are more than proud of this accomplishment, there's work to be done. We still fight every day to bring awareness to everyone. 🎗💛

Healing isn’t just required for the body. It’s also necessary for the mind and the spirit.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, and for those living with chronic illness, healing often requires more than just medical care. It also means finding space for rest, restoration, and emotional support.

We’re partnering with JoAnne of Divine Alchemy to offer a special opportunity for anyone in Virginia navigating this journey. A certified doula, pre and postnatal coaching specialist, and massage therapist, her sessions combine therapeutic abdominal massage, Reiki/energy healing, reflexology, and other holistic practices designed to support the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

If you or someone you love is living with endometriosis and could benefit from a moment of care and restoration, you can receive 25% off her services using the code VAHOPE when booking.

Healing is not just about surviving pain. Healing is about reclaiming peace, balance, and wholeness.

Awareness Month. Endometriosis is a chronic, often debilitating condition-yet it’s still misunderstood and underdiagnosed. Awareness leads to earlier diagnosis, better care, and real change. Let’s talk about it.

In honor of Black History Month, we’re not just reflecting—we’re building solutions. ✊🏾🖤

Join Endo Black, Inc. for Centering Black Women in Endometriosis Care: A Solutions Roundtable, a first-of-its-kind convening intentionally created to center Black women impacted by endometriosis. This gathering brings together lived experience experts, healthcare providers, mental health professionals, researchers, advocates, and community leaders to move beyond awareness and toward action.

We’re creating our own table—one where Black women’s voices, experiences, and expertise shape the future of endometriosis care.

Exciting news—from our friends at George Mason University College of Public Health and EndoBlack, Inc! Please spread the word!

Do you know that extremely painful and debilitating cramps are not a normal part of life?

No one should miss out on school or time with family and friends because of extremely painful cramps.

Unfortunately, 1 in 10 women and girls have endometriosis, which is when cells similar to the uterine lining exist outside of the uterus. Symptoms such as extreme pain can cause girls and young women to miss school or time with family or friends.
Symptoms usually start in adolescence, but because of stigma and shame, most girls don’t receive a diagnosis for 10 years. That time is even longer in communities of colors
Our friends at Endo Black Inc. and George Mason University College of Public Health recently launched an exciting project to help young women and girls with symptoms of endometriosis. Please support by either participating or sharing.

The project, SurrEndo, is an app-based game designed to break down stigma and foster support for Black and Latina young women and girls, ages 14-25, dealing with endometriosis. Plus, it’s a chance for players to help us learn more about how gaming can help people with endometriosis—all while having fun!
