A huge thank you to everyone who attended our recent screening of Gridshock at Liberty Live Church. We are grateful to Liberty Live for hosting us and providing a wonderful space for this important conversation.

A special thank you to Free Kind for partnering with us and for the incredible work you do every day to prevent human trafficking and protect the vulnerable in our communities. We are honored to stand with you!

⚠️ As we work to protect women and children, we also need to be paying close attention to Virginia’s Amendment 1.

The amendment’s broad language protecting those who “aid or assist” someone in exercising reproductive freedom raises serious concerns about whether it could potentially create complications when a trafficker is involved in facilitating an abortion for a victim—especially a minor or someone being coerced.

Our most vulnerable deserve protection—not loopholes that predators could potentially exploit.

Please read Amendment 1, ask questions, and understand what you are voting on this November.

Human trafficking can happen anywhere. Together, we can help end it. 🇺🇸

Virginia’s Amendment 1 is about much more than abortion.

This proposed constitutional amendment raises significant concerns about parental rights, the rights of minors, and the ability of the Commonwealth to enact reasonable health and safety protections in the future.

Regardless of where you stand on abortion, this amendment deserves careful study. We encourage every Virginian to read the full text, learn what it would do, and consider its long-term implications before voting.

An informed electorate is essential to preserving the freedoms and protections we all value.

The Hampton Roads Republican Women’s Club urges Virginians to vote NO on Amendment 1.

📢 Join Us for Our August Hampton Roads Republican Women’s Club Meeting!

We’re excited to welcome Nate Rochelle, Virginia Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America, as our featured guest speaker!

Nate’s passion for the pro-life movement was sparked after watching the film Unplanned. Inspired to take action, he founded a Students for Life chapter at his high school despite opposition from district officials. As president, he led campus outreach, educational events, and pro-life activism, later expanding his efforts through grassroots advocacy and lobbying in Washington, D.C.

Today, Nate serves as the Virginia Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America, where he mentors student leaders, strengthens campus groups, organizes activism efforts, and equips the next generation to advocate for both mothers and their preborn children across the Commonwealth.

Please join us as Nate shares his inspiring journey, discusses the work of the Pro-Life Generation, and provides insight into the challenges and victories of the pro-life movement in Virginia.

Join us on World Day Against Trafficking in person as we raise awareness about the reality of human trafficking in America.

Many people believe human trafficking only happens in other countries, but the truth is that it is happening right here in our own communities.

Susan Yungbluth, President, and Cynthia Scaturico, First Vice President of the Hampton Roads Republican Women’s Club, will present “Gridshock,” a powerful documentary exposing the realities of s*x trafficking, at Liberty Live Church in Hampton. We are also honored to welcome our special guest, Freekind.

Following the film, representatives from Freekind will share how they are working in our community to support survivors, combat human trafficking, and help protect the next generation from exploitation.

This is an important opportunity to become informed, raise awareness, and learn how each of us can help make a difference.

This is disturbing on so many levels- such an insult to women.

What a fantastic evening at our Conservative Happy Hour!

The Hampton Roads Republican Women’s Club and the Republican Party of Hampton were proud to co-host an event filled with great conversation, new friendships, and plenty of patriotic spirit. It was wonderful to see so many conservatives come together to connect, share ideas, and enjoy each other’s company.

A special thank you to Bull Island Brewing Company for their hospitality and for providing such a great venue for our gathering.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us! Your enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to our community are what make events like this so meaningful.

The Hampton Roads Republican Women’s Club is honored to present a special screening of GRIDSHOCK, a powerful documentary exposing the realities of s*x trafficking. This important program will be presented by our First Vice President, Cynthia Scaturico, in partnership with FreeKind, a local faith-based organization dedicated to the prevention of human trafficking and the healing and restoration of survivors.
