👏 A SHOUT-OUT TO OUR BEHIND-THE-SCENES SUPERSTARS! 👏

A huge thank-you to all of our non-uniformed staff and the staff from other worksites who show up, pitch in, and help keep things running every single day!

It takes a team to make a facility run, and not every contribution happens in uniform or within the walls of one location. Whether you're supporting daily operations, helping cover a need, or stepping in wherever an extra hand is needed, your flexibility, teamwork, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

We appreciate the people who are willing to step up, lend a hand, and support one another, even when it means going above and beyond their usual responsibilities.

Every role matters. Every helping hand makes a difference. And every one of you is appreciated!

Thank you for showing up for NSCF!!

Good morning, Everyone!

Why did the scarecrow win an award?

Because he was outstanding in his field!

On a more serious note, let’s all take a page from the scarecrow’s book and strive to be outstanding in our own fields! Whether it’s supporting a coworker, mentoring a new officer, stepping up when needed, or simply giving your best each day, the little things we do make a big difference.

Success isn’t always about being the best; it’s about being willing to grow, learn, and give your best. Let’s continue to challenge ourselves, support one another, and take pride in the work we do.

Have a great morning, everyone, and remember… let’s be so good at what we do that we’re outstanding in our field, too!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween!

After much planning, we're thrilled to share that the new Kids-A-Part playroom at Northern State Correctional Facility is set up and ready to welcome families. Our team recently transformed the space with toys, games, books, art supplies, and plenty of care to create a warm, child-friendly environment where families can connect during visits.

Congratulations to Amy Tardif, NSCF’s Employee of the Quarter! 🎉

On behalf of the Management Team, we are pleased to recognize Amy Tardif as our Employee of the Quarter.

Amy consistently goes above and beyond in her role, managing a wide range of important administrative responsibilities that help keep daily facility operations running smoothly. From weekly canteen duties, yarn orders, incarcerated individual accounts, and package orders to maintaining OMS files, CORE paperwork, and ensuring the accuracy of court-related documents, Amy’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence are truly appreciated.

Amy is also a trusted resource for staff, always willing to answer questions, provide assistance, and step in wherever needed. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, her impact is felt throughout the facility every day.

Her reliability, professionalism, dedication, and willingness to support others make her an invaluable member of the NSCF team.

Please join us in congratulating Amy on this well-deserved recognition! Thank you, Amy, for all that you do, we appreciate you! 👏
