It has been brought to our attention that the state is late in sending out June renewal notice cards for vehicle tags. You don't need the cards to renew your tags. You can come to our offices with your registration certificate from last year along with current proof of insurance. You can also renew online at drive.ky.gov.

July renewals can also be done now.

Kentucky has a closed primary system. Only a Democrat can vote in the Democratic primary and only a Republican can vote in the Republican primary to be held on May 19, 2026. If you wish to change your party registration you must do so by December 31, 2025 in order to be eligible to vote in the May primary. If you change your registration on or after January 1, 2026, you can not vote for either party in the May primary. If you are unsure what party you are registered as, you can check online at GoVote.Ky.gov. If you have more questions you can call our election office at 859 292-3885. The deadline for a new voter to register is April 20, 2026. A 17 year old can register to vote in the May 19, 2026 primary as long as they are 18 by the general election date of November 3, 2026.

There has been a lot of talk recently about title fraud, where someone puts a fake deed on a piece of property that they don't own. We have not seen any evidence of that here in Campbell County. However, if you are worried about it, our real estate vendor is now offering "Doc Alert". This is a service where you can get notification anytime a document with your name is recorded in our office. It is easy to use. Just go to our website at Campbellcountyclerk.ky.gov and click on Doc Alert. Follow the instructions. And best of all, the service is FREE. There is a scam message being texted to a lot of people today about an unpaid traffic ticket. The Kentucky DMV will not text anyone. The people sending the message just want you to click on the embedded link. If you receive this, delete immediately.
