Newport Community Garden Together we are growing new possibilities for healthy eating in Newport,NC We rent plots on a per year basis with water provided free of charge.

In 2014 we started a dream to have a community garden where local residents, civic groups or charities could rent plots to garden fresh vegetables and fruit for a healthier, individually sustained town. Planting season begins in April, help us make 2015 a huge success. If you aren't interested in planting for yourself, consider it for your area food bank. Research shows that when communities have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, they eat them - and they’re healthier for it.
