Dear Community Friends,
After over 30 years in food banking, I am retiring from Food Share of Lincoln County, with my last day being today- July 31.

In my time at Food Share, I have learned that addressing hunger is about much more than providing food. It is about treating every person with dignity, building meaningful partnerships, and believing that communities are strongest when neighbors care for one another.

Shirley King will be taking over as Executive Director on Aug 1. Shirley brings a deep commitment to our mission and 21 years of experience to guide Food Share into its next chapter. I look forward to watching FSLC continue to grow under her leadership.

As I retire, I do so with immense gratitude for our dedicated staff, volunteers, Board members, partner agencies, donors, community leaders, and every individual who has supported this mission. Most of all, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Lincoln County.

While my chapter at Food Share is coming to a close, the organization's future is bright. I leave knowing that the mission is in capable hands and that our community's commitment to ending hunger will continue to grow for generations to come.
