Employee Spotlight of August!

Everyone meet Dan Carlson!

Dan has been in EMS/Fire for over 15 years, as he has a very strong commitment and will to helping his community. Although Dan is only with us on occasion, we are very thankful for him. He is a member of Liverpool EMS and Liverpool Fire Company as well.

When Dan is not busy in EMS or Fire he spends his time with his family, including his little dog!

Thank you, Dan, for all of your help that you provide and the service to our county!

Help an amazing organization out!

Hard to believe it’s the 25 th anniversary of 9-11 a day we will never forget. The proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go towards the organization supporting our heroes of central Pa. They provide food and water when our brave firefighters are fighting fire and other help in the community for victims of fire. # supporting those that protect us ❤️💙(black t shirt or hoodie. Sunday morning around 3:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to the borough for a residential structure fire. Crews arrived to find heavy fire that quickly upgraded to 2 structures on fire. Many mutual aid assisted on scene and did a great job working together. We wish extended prayers to the family and friends. The Fire Company would like to thank Millerstown Fire Department, New Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Company Station 8, New Buffalo Fire Company, Duncannon Fire Company, Friendship Fire Company No. 1, Halifax Fire Department, New Kingstown Fire Company, New Bloomfield Ambulance, Millerstown Ambulance, Newport Ambulance League, and Medic 81 from PennState Health Life Lion Emergency Medical Services for the assistance on scene.
We also like to shout the Newport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, FireBox Street Grill, Dunkin' of Newport, and Supporting Our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania for gathering drinks and snacks for first responders.

It's that time of the month again folks! Our Employee Spotlight.
July Employee Spotlight- Kaela Finnegan!

Kaela is new to us, and to EMS! We could not be more excited to have her on board with us. Kaela obtained her EMT in June of this year.

When Kaela is not working EMS, she likes to be out hiking with her dog. Kaela also works at UPMC West Shore Hospital.

What got Kaela into EMS you ask? Kaela says "medicine has always been a passion of mine, and EMS keeps me on my toes and busy."
