Communities Organizing to Promote Equity-Harvey County Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) seeks to address health disparities in high-risk and underserved communities.

We activate a network of public health and community-based organizations, community health workers, and partners throughout KS. Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) is a project of the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health, KU School of Medicine.

Today we shared with over 250 Hesston High School students and staff about the dangers of opioids, how to identify an overdose, and how to assist someone who is overdosing until emergency services arrive.
