TONIGHT!!! Voices returns to night with magician and historian William Pack. This is gonna be a good one! This will be his 2nd program for UWJC. Last year he shared about HOUDINI! And this program is gonna also blow your mind!! So join us. Doors open at 6 p.m. Program starts at 6:30 p.m. ALL AGES WELCOME! Free admission! See you at DMACC Newton Auditorium tonight!

Today Jessica Lowe Vokes celebrates her 12th year as United Way of Jasper County Executive Director.

In July I went to pick up the mail and there was a letter with a brief note that said:
"Please find enclosed a small donation to the United Way. I personally know the good that you do for the community and what a wonderful place it is to be. Use as you feel."
And there were five $1 bills tucked inside.

To the individual who sent $5 in the mail with a brief note:
Know that your generous gift made my day, and that I keep the letter on my desk to remind me of all the good that is out there.
I appreciate you because you gave what you could.
You shared an encouraging message to someone you had never met.
You recognized the value in what we do here at United Way.
You decided I want to be part of making the community better for others.
And you gave me a reminder of kindness, hope and generosity of spirit that is in the world and for all of that I can't say thank you enough!
