The Library is open during road construction. Access the Town Hall via 100 South & Center Street. You can drive up center to park in front of the Town Hall or park in the parking Strip east of the Pavilion. Starting Monday the Construction Crew will be working on the road from the Highway to the Town Hall so access needs to be from 100 South.

Help Newton celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary. You can help by picking up a “250” coloring page from the library, color it, and return it to the library to help make a giant banner to display in the town hall. Rules: Event is open to everyone —all ages and abilities. Color the pages using the medium you prefer. Sign your name in the top right corner. Return your completed page to the library before June 17th.

Are you ready for Blind Date with a book. Books are out and ready for checkout. There are books for adults, teens, and junior fiction (sixth grade and up). Drawing will happen February 28. Read as many books as you want until Feb 28th.

Book Club is January 22nd , 7 pm at the Newton Library. We will be discussing the book The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip by Sara Brunsvold. Books can be picked up at the library.

Come Join our Family Reading Marathon this January. Reading logs can be picked up at the library to help you track your daily reading. We challenge families and individuals to read every day in January and then turn a reading log in by Feb 15 to be invited to a Movie and Pizza night.
