Newton Parks and Recreation Explore all that City of Newton Parks & Recreation has to offer! Neighborhood parks include Callison Park, Denniston Knolls Park, Hillcrest Park.

From beautiful parks and trails to exciting recreational programs and events, there's something for everyone. Newton Parks and Recreation manages several parks around the city and includes over 300 acres of land around the city. City parks include Agnes Patterson Memorial Park, Aurora Park, Maytag Park, Sunset Park, and Woodland Park. Recreational areas include the Softball Complex, Westwood Golf Course, Newton Dog Park, Industrial Park and Union T-Ball Area and Thirty Acre Park.

Cool off and play this summer. Parks & Recreation is bringing the fun to the splash pad every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Expect a bubble machine, kids' music, chalk, games, and more. Swing by after the farmer's market or make it the whole plan. Free for all ages, all summer long.

On August 6, join us at Maytag Park for the Concert Series, where over 1,000 water balloons will be ready and waiting for kids to dive into a full-on water balloon fight.
