The Cooper Center is happy to be hosting “The Monologue Project: Blind, Deaf and Physically Disabled Voices” on Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 p.m., in our Multipurpose Room.
Newton Theatre Company’s The Monologue Project is an initiative that seeks to bring the community together through the power of personal storytelling. Each production highlights a different community group in Newton, creating a space for individuals to share their authentic selves. They start with one prompt: Tell us your story.
This event is funded in part by Spark Newton as part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts, in collaboration with the City of Newton. Free admission. All are welcome.
Everyone has a story to tell.
Newton Theatre Company’s The Monologue Project: Voices of the Blind, Deaf and Physically Disabled will be an evening of original performance centered on lived experience, identity, resilience, and self-expression.
Through powerful storytelling and theater, this moving production creates space for voices too often overlooked to be heard, celebrated, and shared with the community.
This event is part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts sponsored by Spark Newton in collaboration with the City of Newton. Admission is free. More info here: https://sparknewton.org/event/newton-theatre-company-monologue-project/
