🦉💚💛 Today, our sixth grade owls walked the halls of Balls Creek Elementary for the last time as they entered the gym for Sixth Grade Bridging. It was a special moment filled with pride, memories, and excitement for the future ahead.

We are so proud of these students and all they have accomplished during their time at BCES. They have grown not only as learners, but as leaders, friends, and members of our school family. ✨

To our students —
You are ready.
You are capable.
You are powerful.
And you are loved.

Mrs. Gagnon promised her sixth grade math students that if they showed up, worked hard, and performed well on their EOGs, they would get the chance to pie her in the face.

Over the last two days, our fourth graders have been teaching each other about the things they love and know best! ✨📚 Students shared presentations on topics including bones, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, guitars, robots, donkeys, pigs, ferrets, cryptids, foxes, baking, and so much more. 🎸⚾🦴🦊

We loved seeing our students’ creativity, confidence, and passions shine through as they taught their classmates new and interesting facts.

Balls Creek students are so excited to start creating their very own Artist Trading Cards in the Art Room to wrap up the school year!

They’re using the elements of art and principles of design we’ve learned all year to design something uniquely theirs. From color and line to emphasis and contrast, it’s amazing to see their ideas come to life!

Once they’re finished, students proudly display their cards and get the chance to trade with classmates of other grade levels. The students love to hang their card up and select another card from another grade level or classmate-this was a big hit in the Art room!
