We are incredibly grateful for all the help we received tonight from our local agencies, neighboring agencies, and flight crews! ARCH Air Medical Service- Effingham, IL Base RuralMed Effingham County Dieterich FIRE Jasper County Sheriff's Office and Air Evac Lifeteam #145 - Mattoon IL. Thanks to the coordination of all parties we were able to get patients to the appropriate facilities for definitive care! We couldn’t have done it without you all!

We are all deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Paramedic John Curtright. John started with us back in the mid 80s as a basic, then after becoming a paramedic in 2000 he continued to serve our community until his retirement in 2023. Words can’t even begin to describe his dedication to helping others with over 40 years In EMS, and his service to our community.

We ask that you keep John’s family and friends in your prayers.
