🌸A beautiful day for a community event.
All the children that participated in the contest clearly gave it their all . They showed up dressed in their finest clothes . They shared their stories and we learned many of their interests goals and dreams . The answers were intelligent , clever , surprising and funny.

A big thanks to Joanne Cline Staudt ,a newer recreation member who took on this big event to chair . Great job , Joanne & our recreation members . Mayor Vee Rumsey joined us and helped the event run smoothly. A big thanks goes out to the judges who had tough decisions to make. We appreciated hearing about your backgrounds and how hard you worked to accomplish your goals. Thank you so much for being here.
