It is with great sadness that the Berkeley Fire Department shares the news that Elsa Wiemerslage’s cancer has returned, Elsa is daughter of our very own Professional Firefighter of Berkeley Kevin Wiemerslage.
Elsa was diagnosed with leukemia in October of 2015, battling this terrible disease for nearly 10 years.
The Wiemerslage family has exhausted all treatment options for Elsa’s cure, they are utilizing what time they have left with Elsa. Your Professional Firefighters of Berkeley are volunteering our time to cover our brother Kevin’s shifts so that he may spend time with his family during this difficult time.
Elsa has requested to start checking items off of her bucket list. Your Professional Firefighters of Berkeley are humbly asking for monetary donations to help assist Elsa in checking her items off!
Donations can be made using the link below:

On behalf of the Berkeley Fire Department and the Professional Firefighters of Berkeley we send our love, support, and sympathies to Elsa and the Wiemerslage family!
We love you Elsa!
