The park overlooks the Niagara River Gorge. The park offers fishing, hiking, nature trail, picnic tables, snow-shoe trails, and cross-country skiing. Take a journey to the bottom of one of the many steps, where trails into caves and rapid waters will give you the adventure you won't ever forget. No really, because when your done, you have to climb back up those stairs...

The heat is still here, but fall is just around the corner!

"Walk along the rim trail between Whirlpool State Park and Devil's Hole State Park on Oct. 7 and 21, or walk along the Great Gorge Railway trail on Oct. 14. All three walks will begin at 2 p.m. For the Oct. 7 and 21 hikes, meet Voccio at the Whirlpool State Park main shelter at 2 p.m. For the Oct. 14 hike, meet at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center at 2 p.m."

Niagara Falls City Councilman Chris Voccio will lead three fall foliage walks along the Niagara River Gorge in October.

If leaving "kindness rocks" in our parks, please do not use glitter or decals (i.e. stickers, "googly eyes," etc.). They are harmful to wildlife. Use of paint or markers is acceptable.
