Thismorning 8 of our EMTs completed the practical portion of their Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC). This ensures our drivers have both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they need to safely operate our ambulances. Our thanks to AB Turenne for his support!

The Executive and members of East Lyme Ambulance regret to announce the passing of long time member Nancy Waido. Nancy was an EMT and was a primary driver for volunteers for many years - often making up the crew in the middle of the night. Our sincere condolences to Nancy's family.

Torch Run Traffic Alert

On Wednesday June 4, officers from the East Lyme Police Department will be participating in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics Connecticut

The run will start about 11 AM from the entrance to Rocky Neck State Park. It will continue along Rte 156 just over the Niantic River Bridge, where the torch will be handed over to the Waterford Police Department around 11:40.

We appreciate your support during this event, and want everyone to be able to plan ahead, as this will cause some traffic delays along Rte 156.
