Not a fun Friday night. #takingcareofbusiness
We’re moving dirt! The 6 new pickleball courts should be ready to play on this Fall.
Education
I have worked hard to improve communication between our school system and city government. Nicholasville being designated as a "Work Ready Community" was just one of the projects that were a result of this coordination. This certification proves to potential businesses that our graduates are ready to enter the workforce.
Labor of Love
The growth and change of this old church are like the growth and change of our community. Both are evolving, improving, and both give me a great sense of pride.
Public Works
As your city commissioner, one of my responsibilities has been to oversee the city's Public Works department. I am proud of the progress we've made, but there is still a lot of work to do. Keep the progress going and re-elect Patty Teater, Nicholasville City Commissioner.
I had some really good help on my campaign signs today. He cracks me up sticking that chin out when he’s concentrating 😉.
I rewound and recorded this short video on my phone (sorry about the quality) that has some good information for folks that have applied for Unemployment but have not received it yet. This is from Josh Benton of the Kentucky Workforce Development Office.
So proud of my nephew Morgan Grose. His center is not only working with the plasma treatment project, but also donating PPE supplies in our battle with COVID-19. He has done an excellent job managing the center.
