ADVISORY: The Nicholasville Fire Department will begin Fire Hydrant Service Testing Tuesday May 28th. These tests are necessary to assure adequate operation of the hydrant while measuring its static and flow pressures. This Year the NFD will be testing every hydrant in the City of Nicholasville each week day M-F until completed. When testing it could cause reduced pressure or cloudy water in the water mains. If this occurs just allow your water to flow until clear. If you have questions or concerns you may contact our administrative offices at 859-885-5505.
