Catastrophic fire danger today! This is the highest level of danger any fires that get started will be extremely hard to bring under control if not impossible! Be very careful no open burning and report any fire or smoke seen immediately!

We are officially in the new station!

We are wanting to get an idea on how many people will be at the Christmas dinner on the 13th of December. Remember this is a family dinner so kids are welcome. The department will buy the main course with everyone bringing a desert. Thanks

Reno county fire districts attended training with black hills gas and Sterling Fire on how to deal with gas emergencies

There is a new fire hydrant in the highlands. It is at the entrance of the highlands on crazy horse road directly to the south of the first right hand turn when you come into the highlands. This is a red hydrant. This will make it easier getting water as we won’t have to drive clear into the station on fires in the area.
