09/01/2026
September is Su***de Prevention Month.
This month is more than an awareness ribbon or a post on social media. It’s a reminder that behind every smile, every appointment, every conversation, and every person we meet, there may be a battle we know nothing about.
To anyone who is struggling right now: please stay.
Your life has value. Your presence matters. There are people who would rather sit with you through your darkest moments than live in a world without you. Asking for help does not make you weak, and you do not have to have the right words. Sometimes, “I’m not okay” is enough.
Please check on your people—the strong friend, the quiet friend, the one who always says they’re fine, and the one you haven’t heard from in a while. A phone call, a text, or simply letting someone know they matter can mean more than we realize.
If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Support is available 24/7.
You can also chat with a crisis counselor through the 988 Lifeline.
This September, and every month, we want our community to know:
You are seen.
You are valued.
You are loved.
And your story is not over.
Please stay. The world is better with you in it. 🖤
