Did you know that a piece of movie history is right here in our backyard?

The historic Niles Amtrak Station, located at 598 Dey Street, is much more than just a beautiful landmark. Built in 1892, this architectural gem is a renowned filming location that has caught the eye of Hollywood scouts for decades. It has served as a backdrop for three major motion pictures: Continental Divide (1981), Midnight Run (1988) and Only the Lonely (1991).

Next time you’re catching a train or passing by, remember, you’re walking on a famous film set right here in the heart of our community!
