Annual Pump Testing – Engines 821 and 820
Annual pump testing was completed on Engines 821 and 820 in accordance with applicable department procedures and NFPA requirements. Both apparatus were inspected and tested to verify the proper operation and performance of the fire pumps, associated components, and pump systems.
Engine 821 was placed through the required pump testing procedures. The pump was operated at the specified test pressures and flow conditions, and performance was monitored throughout the test. Pump pressure, discharge pressure, engine operation, and related systems were checked for proper operation. No abnormal conditions were observed during testing.
Engine 820 was subsequently tested using the same annual pump testing procedures. The pump operated as expected, and the apparatus maintained the required pressures and flow throughout the test. The engine, pump controls, gauges, valves, and associated components were inspected during the testing process.
Both Engines 821 and 820 successfully completed their annual pump testing. No deficiencies affecting pump operation were identified at the time of testing. The apparatus were returned to service following completion of the tests.
