The Village of Niles is hosting an art competition celebrating America's 250th anniversary with a local twist: What's Your Connection to Niles History? Open to all ages and skill levels, no entry fee, and the grand prize is your artwork on the cover of the Niles Focus Newsletter and a gift card. See their post for additional details.

Be part of something special as we celebrate America 250 with a local perspective.

The Village of Niles is inviting students, amateur, and skilled artists of all ages to participate in the “America 250: Local History is American History” art competition. This is a fun, community-wide project—everyone is encouraged to apply.

Theme: What’s Your Connection to Niles History? ✨
Share your perspective through art—whether it’s memories of growing up here, iconic landmarks, or the people and places that make Niles unique.

🏆 Grand Prize: Your artwork featured on the cover of the Niles Focus Newsletter, reaching 12,000 households.

Important Dates:
• Application Deadline: May 22, 2026
• Artwork Due: June 15, 2026 (Village Hall, 2nd Floor by 5 PM)
• Opening Reception: July 9, 2026 | 5–8 PM at NVision Art Gallery

No entry fee, and awards will be given across multiple age and skill levels.
