WHERE IS ATHENA? The latest update from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says this Cyril, Oklahoma child is still missing as of 5pm. Cyril Police were first notified on Tuesday at 2pm by a female mail carrier who found Athena Brownfield’s 5-year-old sister alone at the family home. The sister said she didn’t know where 4-year-old Athena was and that’s when the search began. Today at 4pm, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Emergency Reponse Team concluded a grid search with local volunteers. Those volunteers have been released to go home after searching the entire town, every known vacant house and local waterways. Currently, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections has search dogs in the area and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics flew drones over the community. Law enforcement is conducting inverviews and reviewing surviellance videos in an effort to locate little Athena who agents believe disappeared on Saturday. No details released on parents/legal guardians.
