Hamilton County: We Need Your Skills

Our Long Term Recovery Group is forming the committees that will guide our county's flood recovery for the projected next 3 years and we're looking for neighbors with a knack for finance, fundraising, communications, construction, case management, donations, or emotional/spiritual care.

🗓️ Thursday, September 3 | 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Hamilton County Juvenile Center, Cumberland Rd, Noblesville

This is volunteer-led, and to keep it fair, we ask that participants not be current government employees, directly flood-affected, or a close family member/associate of someone who was.

Bring your gifts. Help us build something lasting.

The updated email and website will be launching soon to help with streamlined communication and updates. Be sure to like and share this page with those in Hamilton County to help us everyone recover as quicly as possible.

SERVE Village needs volunteers!

SERVE Village needs volunteers!

Last night we shared that SERVE Village is moving into Phase 3 of flood recovery that will be organized around scheduled, appointment-based help instead of neighborhood blitzes. That shift only works if we have volunteers ready to fill those appointment slots, and tomorrow is one of those days we need you for the morning and afternoon times.

Neighbors across Hamilton County are still waiting on cleanup, debris removal, and the drying-out process before mold treatment and FEMA eligibility can move forward.
Every appointment we can fill tomorrow is a family one step closer to home.

Sign up here → www.servevillage.org

If you've volunteered with us before, thank you, and please come back. If you've never volunteered but have been wondering how to help, tomorrow is the day.
This is what SERVE Village has done for 15 years: shown up when our neighbors need us most. Tomorrow, we need you to show up with us.

If you still need help with cleanup, removing items, or the drying-out process, please complete this Google Form—even if you previously registered with us REGISTER to Schedule Cleanup at https://www.servevillage.org

The form includes a section to tell us what you still need help with and what days/times you are available. Please provide as much information as possible so we can begin coordinating volunteers with individual households.

DONATIONS UPDATE: We are now asking for all donations to please turn to financial contributions. As we move through the initial emergency phase, we are needing unique needs met. Financial contributions help here. Donations will be received by Hamilton County Community Foundation. You can DONATE at https://hamiltoncountycf.org/

Day 2 of our Opening Retreat focused on learning from those who have walked their own path through the HCLA program and the history of Hamilton County.

What an incredible start to our Opening Retreat! Thursday was centered around connection. The cohort came together to build relationships and share perspectives. The conversations and connections are just the beginning of what this year will bring.
