We’re spending the morning with ULI Indiana getting trained to facilitate Homeward, an interactive simulation designed to help communities better understand the realities and challenges of housing.

We’re excited to bring this experience into future conversations across Hamilton, Boone, and Tipton counties as we continue working toward housing solutions that help everyone thrive. Learn more about Homeward here: https://indiana.uli.org/programs/homeward/

We’re launching a new two-part Lunch & Learn webinar series focused on a growing reality we’re seeing across our communities: Affordable housing is becoming harder to access, harder to sustain, and harder to build.

Join us June 23 and 24 as we explore both sides of the issue through real stories, honest conversation, and practical insight.

June 23 | The Human Reality
A conversation grounded in what residents, property managers, and community partners are experiencing every day, including the growing challenge of qualifying for and remaining in affordable housing.

One year ago today, we launched HAND’s volunteer program. Since then, more than 150 volunteers have rolled up their sleeves across our communities to help make a difference.

This morning’s volunteer event felt like the perfect way to celebrate that milestone. Even though the rain cut things short, we still had time to make an impact.

Thank you to Fishers Tri Kappa for spending the morning with us and helping care for our communities. We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of this first year of volunteering with HAND. Here’s to even more impact ahead.

A huge thank you to the National Charity League, Inc. Noblesville Chapter for spending last weekend volunteering at Plum Tree Gardens! 💙

As part of adopting the property for the year, this amazing group made a huge difference in the look and feel of the community through landscaping, cleanup, and lots of hard work.

We’re so grateful for partners who care so deeply about our residents and communities. Thank you for showing up and making an impact!

Partnership. Action. Impact.

When the boil water advisory hit Sheridan, many of our senior residents were faced with a situation they couldn’t easily respond to on their own.

For older adults on fixed incomes, getting to the store, carrying water, and having enough for daily needs can quickly become a real barrier.

Thanks to Joshua Michael Griner and Culligan Ultrapure, water was provided for all 60 households at Spicewood Gardens. Residents, we are on our way!

Grateful for partners like Culligan. This is what community looks like.

Sheridan Residents:: A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for your service area as of 7am 5/1/26 to 5/2/26 at 10 pm/EDT due to Plant Electrical Issue. You reside in the affected area. This advisory is expected to be in effect for approximately 18 hours. Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 3 minutes. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses. You will receive another notification should additional action be required or conditions change, or when normal water use may be resumed.

🚨 Service Update – Sheridan 🚨
Water service has been restored for Indiana American Water customers in Sheridan. However, a Boil Water Advisory is now in effect for the Sheridan water system as a precaution following the earlier service disruption.
The company is still investigating what caused the disruption.
Customers should bring all tap water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Water may be used for bathing and other household purposes.
We understand how disruptive this situation has been and appreciate our customers’ patience as crews worked to restore service. The advisory will remain in place until required testing is completed and it is safe to lift the notice.
Updates are also posted in the Alerts section at amwater.com, and customers are encouraged to sign up for My Water alerts to receive notifications directly by text, email, or phone.
