AmeriCare will give a Skilled Nursing Facility a “HEADS UP” phone call once we have received care of their new resident and before our ambulance transports the resident to the facility. HOW THIS BENEFITS A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY:

It is our way to give back to the families of the residents that we transport. We will transport a resident that medically qualifies to be transported by stretcher to family events within the county for free. Our “Bringing Families Together” program is just a part of AmeriCare’s everyday effort to improve each resident’s quality of life. Each and every year, this program has provided many healthcare residents with the transportation they need to be with loved ones.
