Paving operations will be taking place this week on Vereda Patria and adjacent roads. Please plan ahead and help us keep the work zone safe and efficient! 👷‍♂️🚜

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER
All vehicles parked in the right-of-way MUST be moved or they will be towed. 🚗➡️🚫

📍 Affected areas include (but are not limited to):
• Circulo Canada
• All roads east of Circulo Canada

🔹 Remove all vehicles from the roadway and shoulder
🔹 Clear any items from the right-of-way (trash cans, equipment, etc.)

Your cooperation helps crews complete this project quickly and safely. 🙏

🚔 National DEA Take Back Initiative – April 25, 2026 🚔

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is proud to participate in the National DEA Take Back Initiative! This event gives our community a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. Simply drive up and drop them off for proper destruction — no questions asked.

Note: This event is for families to dispose of unwanted medications. No needles, syringes, inhalers, or batteries will be accepted. For more information, visit DEATakeBack.com.
