HUMANITARIAN AID FOR CUBA

Manny Lopez is collecting humanitarian supplies to take to Cuba late September. He is asking that donations be brought to the VADC Membership Meeting on August 15 and to Liberal Libations on August 18th and September 1st.
Items needed are as follows:
ONLY NON-PERSCRIPTION drugs, ointments, creams, eye drops etc.
Small rechargeable and solar devices like fans, lights, and medical equipment are needed.
Products like tampons, creams, ointments, soap, toothpaste.
Foods like instant potatoes, rice, beans, canned meats, and peanut butter are very helpful.

Election Day is August 18. If you haven't yet voted please make your plan to vote now. You need to make your voice heard to end the chaos. Independent or unaffiliated voters can and should still vote for school board. Each of us can vote for up to 3 school board candidates regardless of district. If you are unsure of who to vote for, do your research. Look at their websites. Don't just vote the party line.
