Earth Experience Natural History: Monday, June 15th Families with kids of all ages are invited to join our local natural history experts in a session exploring real fossils and fossil casts while learning about noteworthy species from a wide range of time periods. There will be two different shows. one at 9:30 AM and one at 11 AM. No registration needed.

Teens Ages 12-18 are invited to come unearth their creativity making artwork using stones. Today, Monday June 8 from 3-6 PM. No registration required.

This week at the library:

Monday, June 8, Songs By Jake will be at the Nolensville Branch Library! Families with kids of all ages are invited to join us in celebrating music and storytelling in this one-of-a-kind musical experience. Two showtimes, 9:30 and 11 AM. No registration needed.

All story and craft times will be on a break this week and next. Story and craft times will resume on their usual schedule the week of June 15-20.

Wednesday, June 10 from 3:30-5 PM is Dino Bingo! Families with kids of all ages are invited to play a round or two of Dino-themed bino. Match the different types of dinosaurs to spaces on the board to win fun prizes. Registration is required, visit the calendar on our website to register.

Thursday, June 11 will be our Tween reading activity. Our tweens, ages 8-13 will be making Dinosaur Terrariums in the community room from 4-6 PM. Registration is required. Please visit the calendar on our website to register.

Friday, June 5 kids ages 3-5 are invited to join us in making paper plate dinosaurs in the community room from 11:30 AM to 12 PM

Also on Friday from 3 - 5 PM our Nolensville Needlers group will be meeting. Everyone who creates textiles with a needle is welcome to sit, chat and create along with them. Bring your own materials and join the fun!

Reading Kickoff tomorrow, but never fear!! Our indoor plan promises lots of Dino fun as well! Come ready to dance at our Dino Dance Party, make your mark on our summer reading banner to decorate the library, get your face painted and more! For those who don’t mind getting their hands a little dirty, visit our back patio as you leave to unearth your own dinosaur skeleton or fossil to take home! Most importantly, don’t forget to pick up your Summer Reading Event Guide and get signed up to start logging your minutes reading!! We hope to see you at the library!

Summer Reading Registration is Open! Visit www.williamsoncounty.beanstack.org to start logging your minutes to earn prizes! Fun programs are happening all summer long at all WCPL branches starting with Kickoff on Saturday, May 30. Come by the Nolensville Branch Library to pick up your Summer Reading Program Event Guide for a complete listing of all events at each location. Color your own reading logs are available at the front desk as well. We hope to see you at the library!
